The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi has officially announced the Class XI Special Examination 2026 for students of session 2025–27 who failed or could not appear in the annual Class 11 exam. Here is everything — dates, fees, eligibility, and how to register — in one place.
What Is the JAC Class 11 Special Examination 2026?
The Jharkhand Academic Council conducts the Class XI Special Examination every year for students enrolled in the intermediate session (2025–27) who were unable to pass or appear in the Annual Intermediate Examination 2027 — specifically the Class 11 annual exam held in 2026.
This exam gives failed or absent students a second chance to qualify and become eligible for the Class 12 board examination (Intermediate Examination 2027). The exam will be conducted via OMR sheet and questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.
Important Dates at a Glance
Mark these dates carefully. Missing the deadline means paying a late fine of ₹500 per applicable head.
Note: No form-related activity will be entertained after 20 June 2026 under any circumstances.
